Tempus Projects is proud to present Natalie DePergola and Shevonne Philidor of Purple Gurl, a new all-star female power group featuring DePergola, Philidor, Stephanie Perez and Juna Serita. The band formed and bonded over their love of Prince. It was John Blackwell (Prince’s former drummer) that introduced the idea of an all-girl band to them years ago. Shevonne, Stephanie, and Natalie individually studied with John Blackwell. Juna Serita made her way to Florida from Japan and very quickly became the talk of the music scene and caught the attention of the girls.

This is Tempus Projects' third Living Room Concert and is a part of our ongoing efforts to collaborate across disciplines in the Tampa Bay creative community. This event will be held in the gallery during Selina Román’s exhibition A Bad Batch: Beauty in the Breakdown.
