OPENING NIGHT OF THE TRAVELOGUES : INDIA AND THE UNITED STATES :: Group Exhibition

01.04.2013

Special Event

OPENING NIGHT OF THE TRAVELOGUES: INDIA AND THE UNITED STATES took place at Tempus Projects, Seminole Heights’ anchor for art and community. The evening featured Josh Sullivan sharing stories and zines from his “52 Friends” project, Deanna Williams sharing her experiences teaching English and living as a foreign wife in India, and Vince Kral sharing a video he created about a recent trip he took with his family to Iowa in an RV.

Vessel, the brainchild of Gina Moccio, is interviews and events with a focus on community. It began in the summer of 2010 as a means of recording the point where our stories and experiences in daily life and the creative process meet. It is inclusive, experimental, and centers on collaboration. Events involve art, education and music in many facets. Interviewees are makers, creators, and those who foster community.”
