MIXTAPES & TEES :: Group Exhibition

With a wistful affection for the past and a current edge, MIXTAPES & TEES brings together select artists and mixtape enthusiasts to share their illustrated playlists and favorite tracks on themed cassettes. All the included playlists will be available for listening on headphones via vintage Walkman music players and boom-boxes.

This unique and nostalgic exhibition transforms the gallery into an old-school music sharing setting. Featured artists were selected by jurors Megan Voeller (Visual Arts Critic, Creative Loafing) and Joran Slane Oppelt (Marketing & Promotions Director, Creative Loafing), along with Tempus Projects. Also on December 9th, Tempus Projects presents its third T-shirt show. Selected one-color designs will be featured in the gallery as printed tees and will be available for purchase—made to order—on the spot.
