Tempus Projects is pleased to announce ALL IN: George Anderton, Works from North A St, a solo exhibition celebrating the expansive, decades-spanning practice of Tampa-based artist George Anderton. The exhibition will run from August 14 through September 18, 2025, with a public artist reception on Friday, September 5, at Tempus Projects in the historic Kress Building.

Trained in London and Budapest, George Anderton has cultivated a rich and enduring studio practice in Tampa for more than 30 years. ALL IN features a compelling selection of paintings, drawings, collages, and sculpture that illuminate the artist’s exploration of the often paradoxical relationship between traditional representation and expressive abstraction.

Organized by José Gelats and Kathy Gibson, the exhibition highlights both recent and rarely seen works—many being exhibited for the first time in Tampa Bay. The presentation offers a unique glimpse into Anderton’s evolving visual language, marked by an intuitive yet deliberate approach that bridges formal rigor and emotional resonance.
