GETTING HERE :: Tempus Projects is located at 1624 E 7th Ave in Ybor City. There is paid off-street parking on 7th Ave and surrounding streets, as well as various paid public lots. The closest lot is located at 1779 E 8th Ave. The free TECO Streetcar stops a block away at the Centro Ybor Station (#2). Arriving by carpool or ride share is another great option!

Edgar Sánchez Cumbas
Tempus Projects is pleased to present the solo exhibition SHIP OF FOOLS by Edgar Sánchez Cumbas, a Puerto Rican–born mixed-media artist whose vibrant, sculptural abstractions explore colorism, identity, and cultural memory.
The exhibition runs from August 7 through September 18, 2025, with a public artist reception on Friday, September 5.

ALL IN: George Anderton
Works from North A St
Tempus Projects is pleased to present ALL IN: George Anderton, Works from North A St, a solo exhibition celebrating the expansive, decades-spanning practice of Tampa-based artist George Anderton.
Organized by José Gelats and Kathy Gibson, the exhibition runs through September 18, 2025, with a public artist reception on Friday, September 5, at Tempus Projects in the historic Kress Building.
Trained in London and Budapest, Anderton has cultivated a rich and enduring studio practice in Tampa for more than 30 years. ALL IN features a compelling selection of paintings, drawings, collages, and sculpture that illuminate the artist’s exploration of the often paradoxical relationship between traditional representation and expressive abstraction.
ARTIST RESIDENCY PROGRAM
In our continuing effort to foster and support the arts in the Tampa Bay area, we established an Artist Residency Program in 2016. This program allows for a collaborative exchange between the Tampa Bay arts community and visiting artists from across the country and beyond.
