Sign Up for Writing for Grants Workshop, July 18
Learn the importance of clear, concise and compelling writing at the Writing for Grants Workshop, sponsored by the Arts Council of Hillsborough County. This two-hour workshop is intended for nonprofit arts organizations wishing to learn effective business writing for grants. Attendees will learn to:
- Clarify purpose and objectives.
- Outline and structure content.
- Write effective sentences and paragraphs.
- Incorporate research for added impact.
- Target the grants panel as audience.

Speaker: Ezra Ochshorn, MSW, is an accomplished professional with experience writing for newspapers, journals and the literary arts. He has written and edited numerous successful grants and served as a grant reviewer for the National Institutes of Health. As an independent consultant, Ezra works with academic and non-academic professionals and organizations to help them communicate effectively in business writing.
